Please help us reach our goal
Fundraising
We are dedicated to providing free groups and ensuring our paid groups are as a low cost as possible, in order to do this we rely on donations. We understand it is a tough time financially for so many people in Glasgow but any financial contribution towards Talking is Mental is hugely beneficial and greatly appreciated, please see below how donations are used to better our initiative:
-
Covering venue and space hire cost.
-
Providing travel expenses for attendees on low incomes.
-
Buying equipment and supplies for groups.
-
Allowing us to offer "pay what you can" options for attendees on low incomes looking to attend paid groups.
-
Providing tea, coffee and biscuits at groups.
-
Funding our marketing and promotion to ensure we can reach new attendees in the wider community.
-
Creating new groups.
How to donate
After completing the Glasgow Mighty Stride Kilt Walk in April we have decided to sign up to the Edinburgh Mighty Stride Kilt walk on Sunday 14th September...we are hopeful our feet and legs will have recovered in time...
Talking is Mental co-founder Jack will be taking on the the Mighty Stride at the Edinburgh Kilt Walk (just a brisk 20 mile walk.....nothing too intense...) alongside some of our ambassadors and raising money for the initiative.
You can donate through our Crowd-funder to help us reach our fundraising goal.
The donations will be used for the following:
-
Providing stationery, scripts, snacks and tea/coffee for Theatre is Mental.
-
Providing travel expenses to attendees on low income.
-
Providing financial assistance to Football is Mental attendees on low income.
-
Buying art supplies for our Art is Mental group.
-
Providing snacks and tea/coffee for our Writing is Mental group.
All money raised will be put back into our groups and also help us start more groups.
Any donation is greatly appreciated and helps us in our mission to combat loneliness in Scotland.
Thank you for supporting us 💛
