

The Talking is Mental Team
Jack comes from a background of youth work, personal social development coaching and outdoor education.
After graduating with an Honours Degree in Popular Music Jack taught music, English and Outdoor Education in summer camps and schools around Scotland, Andorra and Canada. After traveling Jack settled back down in Scotland and worked as a Caseload executive/employability coach with Prince's Trust and a Youth and Community Development Officer with LGBT Youth Scotland.
It has been Jack's dream to start up an initiative to help combat loneliness and help connect people in Glasgow, he wants to help remove as many barriers as possible for people so they can make friends and find activities they enjoy.

Billi's working background is varied covering policy, advocacy, project delivery and support, social work and administration.
In education, she studied law, social work, public policy and journalism.
In creating Talking is Mental, Billi wanted to build community for people who felt like something was missing after COVID-19. In the time Talking is Mental has been running she has seen the power in connecting people and the incredible and quick positive impacts it has on mental and physical health.

Holly Worton,
Lead Ambassador
Holly is a theatre maker and community practitioner based in Glasgow and originally from Motherwell. Her practice is routed in collaboration within communities and justice settings, she has a core belief that theatre is capable of making a change and a difference.
Holly runs our "Theatre is Mental" group, if you are interested in theatre, drama, performance or just want to build your confidence then this could be the group for you! It is a fun, free and inclusive space to get in touch with your creative side.
